Hey party people! I apologize for not updating sooner, but I'm hacking away at the metaphorical bush also known as my film. Here's a quick poster I did for the Flipbook this year. The Flipbook is an annual showcase of work from the animation kidz at Sheridan. It's always fun getting it and flipping through it (it's usually the thickness of half a phone book) and provides hours of enjoyment.
And as always, with a new poster comes a new cheesy tagline. This one is thanks to Tracey who thought this line from a well-known nursery rhyme would fit perfectly for my film, and it does! I'd also like to thank Andrea for helping me with the lighting :)
And as a minor note, this is my 60th post. Now get drunk and celebrate my achievement!

Ooh good luck with the rest of your film Tapan! I know these things are a huuuge undertaking. Really looking forward to it, I love your Amelia character!
see, that window placement would make me feel very uncomfortable :P
you know how I feel about your film/art already so I wont say anymore :D
classy work! .......goes for everything on ur blog.
Where can i get this flipbook?? Sounds cool!
is it about flushing stuff?? i know some people here at work don't know how to... maybe this can be educational as well.
I hate drinking but love yor work. Enjoy.
Nice work, Tapan. I was thinking more about the Dreamworks 3D only stuff, and I realized that if you look through the Art Of books they're filled with hand-drawn awesomeness. The Art of Kung Fu Panda is mainly Nicolas Marlet's 2D designs. Logically then, Dreamworks not only accepts traditional artists, but they NEED traditional artists! So apply already! :)
Snap I haven't been on here forever!! This turned out pretty Sweet Tapan ;)
Oh and you gave me props??? sweet !!! I luvs you :)
I have just visited your portfolio. Great work !

Hi, I know this is random, I found your blog on Mayerson's Sheridan animation blog. I just wanted to say I saw your film at the screening and it was great! I just finished third year, I worked on Electropolis, maybe you saw it? Just wanted to say your film was a huge inspiration!

Love the mood the colors and the composition create. Do all you people at Sheridan kick ass as sweetly as this?
Great style and design.
